Blue River!
We drove our new FJ Cruiser back to the Blue River yesterday (05/31/08).
Juan Miller Road took past Turkey Creek, where we saw this fellow.....
Finally at the Xing, I went for a little walk upstream and took a few pictures....
We left there and took a 4 wheel route upstream to the XXX ranch.
Just beyond that place is the edge of the Blue Wilderness area...
We watched a pair of Black Hawks flying above us....
It was a great place!
On the way back home we stopped to take pictures f these bighorn sheep at the FMI General Offices...
Today (07/10/04) Teresa and I took a drive to the Blue River on the Juan Miller road. The road was pretty interesting with rock formations and the water in the river was nice and clear. In fact, the area looked much cleaner than those rivers we usually visit.
