Friday, April 13th, 2007...SNOW on the Big Lues!
Right below our house lie the ruins of an old cattle ranch known as Phillips
Ranch.
Nowadays it is just a corral with dilapidated fences and structures.
While poking around down there looking for reptiles,
we happened to find the historical marker...
On August 6, 2006. My son and I witnessed a monsoon "gullywasher" striking the desert between our house and the Big Lue Mountains...Conditions were right to flood Rattlesnake Canyon, and so it did! Teresa noticed this flash flood action from our den window...
This is at the catwalk over by Glenwood New Mexico...
